I just realised that I haven’t posted an update for a while… the reason is that I’m currently busy ironing out inconsistencies in the world of Dagenthir, checking the rules for balance (and moments of sheer stupidity), and generally making sure that the various rabbit holes of new ideas, campaigns, expansions, etc. don’t stop me from ever releasing Dagenthir in printed form.
I’m making really good progress, and the first two books (The World of Dagenthir and Player’s Guide) are incredibly close to completion.
I am, however, considering cutting the Game Master’s Guide down to its bare minimum. It was ambitious in the first place, providing years of campaign and adventure ideas. I might just stick with the Bestiary and some basic advice and ideas. More adventures, campaign ideas and secrets would then be delivered digitally to anyone who bought the book. We’ll see…
I can honestly promise you that the wait will have been worth the wait when Dagenthir is done!
This is going to be a highly polished world and system that you will be able to play for years, without any additional books, extensions, or anything else.
