The World of Dagenthir

Dagenthir is a world full of magic and danger, exotic pleasures, dark alleys, dragons, goblins, elves, orcs, dwarves, and powerful gods. It’s an ancient world, scarred by battles, some of which have long been forgotten.

It’s also a world that is rapidly changing. The elves, decadent former rulers of Dagenthir, have retreated into Talandhir, clinging to the remnants of their former glory. In the crumbling empire of Tar Maranth, the ruins of the old elven empire (and the even older civilization of Dagenthir’s vanished natives) serve as the foundation of the huge empire built by human invaders. Meanwhile, the cursed steppes of Karinor have been taken over by mighty orc tribes that settle and roam through ruins haunted by the ghosts of their long-dead inhabitants. In the colossal Boruk Khal, dwarves live around green valleys and in stone fortresses, untouched by outsiders. And on the outer fringes of the continent linger the swamp-dwellers of Maroog, the death cultists of Jarad, the tribes of Charna, the isolated wild elves of the Dragon Reaches, and many others.
